Yes. Run the drain or spin cycle first, then disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses and leave them attached to the machine so nothing is lost.
Can I sell a washing machine that does not spin?
Yes. A spin-only fault is usually a lid switch, a belt or a capacitor, all inexpensive for a refurbisher. Say which function fails.
Do you buy machines with a broken door lock?
Front-load door locks and their PCBs are common failures and are replaced routinely. The machine is still bought, at a deduction quoted before the visit rather than at the door.
