Can I sell a geyser that does not heat water?
Yes. The element, the tank and the brass fittings have value, and repair technicians buy non-working units to harvest them. Say that the element is dead in the listing so the price reflects it up front instead of at the door.
Do you remove the geyser from the wall?
The pickup team dismantles it and takes the bracket and valves with it, as long as the water and power supply to it was isolated before they arrive. Mention in the listing whether it is still installed.
Is an old gas geyser safe to sell?
Gas geysers are bought for their copper heat exchanger and casing. A unit that has been in service for more than eight years should be retired rather than resold, and it is priced accordingly.
What paperwork do I need?
Nothing is required. A purchase bill or a service-card entry helps because it proves the age, but a geyser with no papers is still accepted.
