Brands we buy

What decides the price of your induction cooktop

Does the glass crack

A cracked ceramic top is not resaleable, because water reaches the electronics below it. A hairline chip is a deduction; a split top is a parts unit.

Fan and coil noise

Induction hobs run a cooling fan constantly. A rattling or seized fan trips the thermal cut-out and is the most common fault found.

Control board

Touch panels that drift or ignore inputs are an IGBT and board issue, and are priced accordingly.

Wattage

A 2100 W hob heats meaningfully faster than a 1200 W unit and is worth more used.

Frequently asked questions

Will you buy an induction cooktop that does not heat?

Yes. The IGBT, coil and fan are all saleable parts, and a no-heat fault is often a thermal fuse. Describe what the display does when it is switched on.

Do you buy built-in hobs that are cut into the counter?

Yes. Dismantling a built-in hob is part of the pickup, but the cut-out in the counter stays with the kitchen, so mention the size of the unit.

Is a hot plate worth anything?

Coil hot plates are cheap new, so used ones price low. They are still collected, especially in bulk from hostels and offices.

What should I say about the condition?

Wattage, whether the glass top is intact, whether the fan runs, and whether the controls respond. Those four answers set the price.

How it works

1

Tell us the specs

Brand, capacity or model, age and condition. That is enough to see where the price sits.

2

Book a doorstep slot

Pick a day. The buyer inspects the item at your door, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

3

Get paid before it leaves

Payment is released at handover. The item and the money change hands in the same visit.

What you are guaranteed

Safe & verified buyers

Every pickup is against a verified account, and the handover is logged with an invoice.

Fair market valuation

The price comes from recent real transactions for the same brand and capacity, not a fixed rate card.

No travel, no shipping

Nobody packs or posts an appliance. The buyer comes to you and carries it away.

Before the pickup arrives

  • Induction tops need a flat, stable surface to be tested on. Clear a counter where the technician can plug in and run the unit for a few minutes.

  • Cooktops that keep switching off after a few minutes usually have a fan fault. Say so; it is a cheap repair and prices better than an unexplained no-heat.
